• United Nude and Iris van Herpen have teamed up again for Spring 2012, this time producing a black leather bootie with an extreme curved heel. But, according to WWD, they’re not ready yet! United Nude creative director Rem D. Koolhaas says, “We are still figuring out the production because the heels are so against gravity. It’s quite difficult to develop such shapes, but making things that [seem] impossible [is] a great challenge for us.” The heels will retail for $900.
