• Black Barbie dolls are getting a special makeover just in time for the holidays. A black women’s natural hair group is handing out black Barbies with hair modified to stand up in an afro. The group plans to distribute these dolls to little girls at the Booker T. Washington apartments in Colombus, GA. “When you look for dolls, they all have straight hair,” group member Candice McBride said. “It’s tricky even to find ones with brown eyes. We wanted to show the girls that basically, it’s okay the way God made you.” If you don’t live near Colombus, there is an online tutorial on how to give your Barbie’s hair a more textured look. (Mme. The designer is rumored to have signed a deal to design tuxes for Men’s Wearhouse. The retailer hasn’t officially announced the partnership, stating only that they would soon release the details of a “new licensing arrangement…with a well-known apparel brand, specifically designed for our tuxedo rental business.” (WWD)• Hot on the heels of Amy Odell‘s piece lambasting the fashionization of the Obama girls, the writer reports that The Fashion Spot, a daily destination for the latest info on ad campaigns, editorials, and fashion news, bans user posts on celebrity children– including Sasha and Malia. The only exception to this rule is Elle Fanning, who apparently doesn’t count as a child since she wears runway looks from Louis Vuitton (The Cut)• You’ll be running all the way to a second part-time job if you want these Chanel running shoes. The $950 sneakers will be available in stores next month. If you had the funds, would you buy? (Styleite)~Jihan

Though a staple at New York Fashion Week, Diane von Furstenberg is a global brand, dressing women the world over. Her Fall 2012 collection “Rendezvous” was a nod to the women of one of the other fashion capitals of the world: Paris. Their effortless seduction and everyday glamour served as inspiration for the sensual looks which highlighted the female form as DVF does so well.Like every Fall collection, outerwear was a strong focus and DVF presented cozy bouclé overcoats, perfect for dressing up any look with a touch of menswear-inspired tailoring. What made these pieces stand out were their bold hues: delicious plum raisin, electric lime and eye-catching blue. These pieces were paired with draped jumpsuits and sophisticated separates, adding to the romance and elegance of the collection. Those shocking shades did not stop and were shown in more colorblocked looks, pairing draped blouses with pencil skirts and high-waist cropped trousers and even a strapless turquoise asymmetrical dress on Joan Smalls accessorized with a pink clutch for a look that would be sure to turn heads on the red carpet.DVF’s wrap dress is iconic, but so are her prints. For Fall, she and Creative Director Yvan Mispelaere really had fun with them. The patterns had a surreal vibe for the season including oversized quotation marks, interlocking hands, puzzle pieces, chain links, and so much more. This is one of the most thrilling collections for Fall New York Fashion Week this season and a bold one at that. Diane von Furstenberg constantly gives her loyal customers something to covet, but also reels in some new fans by presenting looks that are fun and stand out, without ever having to try too hard. A purchase from DVF is one that can last a lifetime and I have a feeling that fashionable ladies the world over will be running to buy these looks.Do you like Diane von Furstenberg’s latest?#gallery-1 {margin: auto;}#gallery-1 .gallery-item {float: left;margin-top: 10px;text-align: center;width: 33%;}#gallery-1 img {border: 2px solid #cfcfcf;}#gallery-1 .gallery-caption {margin-left: 0;}/* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */Photos: ELLE.com

Chrissy Teigen is one of the hot models featured in the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and she celebrated at the Club SI Swimsuit Party at PURE Nightclub in Las Vegas. For the occasion, she kept it sleek in all-black and rocked a $395 Elizabeth and James Karlie Dress with Cutouts:Her slinky jersey dress features sheer mesh raglan sleeves and side cutouts.Chrissy looks great here and she altered her dress to give it a shorter length and show off her legs. I would have preferred a simple black pump, but her peep toe pumps still work. Are you feeling Chrissy’s look? If so, get it here.More Whiting & Davis…

Happy Monday Bombers and Bombshells! With Princess Carter arriving and season five of “The Game” premiering tomorrow night, this week is looking GREAAAAT and it’s not even Tuesday yet ;)Let’s just get right into this…Christina Milian hosted The Evening at Moon Nightclub at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas wearing this sporty yet sexy number. I’m not a huge fan of this style of dress but Milian definitely pulls it off with her toned body.Hair and makeup? Both are completely EVERYTHING. HOT!Christina was quite the busy bee this weekend as she also attended a press event for her new gig on NBC’s “The Voice”. She’s a bit matchy-matchy here but it works since the shoes are a print and the jacket is color-blocked.Also in Vegas…Nelly hosted an event at Chateau…and…I’m sorry—I kind of blacked out staring at his arms. Where am I?Over in Beverly Hills, stars came out for the 50th Anniversary Celebration For St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.Wait. This is soooooo NOT Raven. What’s going on here? I mean, there’s the telltale “Olivia” eyebrow dip, but how do we know aliens didn’t abduct Raven Symone?Look how tense she is. THIS IS NOT RAVEN. Who is this girl dressed in duvet covers?Rashida Jones also came out. Love the eye makeup and the side ponytail. Not a huge fan of the dress—it just seems a bit too casual/wrinkled/not properly tailored for the occasion though the color looks wonderful on Rashida’s skin tone.Doesn’t Lance Gross look like his suit goes “swoosh swish swoosh” when he walks? Shame because I love this shade of brown—it’s just a tad overkill. And why are his pants bunched up at the ankles like that? Oh, Lance…Cutie Elise Neal looked like a pageant contestant with this bang and reverse French roll hairstyle. Her makeup is flawless though.Yeah, I can’t deal with this dress. When bad outfits happen to good people… *sigh* Plus I feel like busting out with “Her name was Lola…she was a show girl…”Ya’ll better bow down and pay HOMAGE to the one and only Diahann Carroll! Even though she looks like she’s not exactly sure she knows where she is in this pic, mother looks gooooooood.Vanessa Williams looked good—though I’d add a pop of color to her makeup look—everything blends so much with her skin that it slightly washes her out. Nice dress—-though I would have loved to see a more statement making shoe. Then TV One got a big head start and taped the Trumpet Awards this weekend in Atlanta. It’s due to air in April. The Braxton family dusted off their prom dresses and headed out on the red carpet. Mama Braxton is over there killing it!Eddie Levert looked dapper in an open collar suit. I LOVE this look on a man. Go ‘head, cat daddy! Then over at the NBC Universal 2012 Winter TCA Press Tour All-Star Party…Tia Mowry-Hardrict hit the red carpet beaming with joy. Makeup looks good although something went awry around the center of her face with the foundation. I’m guessing it’s the camera’s flash and the lighting distorting her look. The red shift dress with the booties is a cute look! But, pssssst…Tia….boo, pull your stockings up.Sissy poo Tamera Mowry-Housley wasn’t far behind. I’m LIVING for this hair and makeup. She looks so radiant and happy. AwwwThis simple A-line black dress with the leopard print ankle-strap platforms look is PERFECT. HOT, Tamera!!!And finally Jessica Alba was spotted out in L.A. with her daughter. I love how simple yet fashionable her entire look is. HOT!Which look is your favorite?~DanielleImages via Judy Eddy/WENN.com/Getty
